Seyi Tinubu Consoles Cubana Chief Priest After APC Loss

Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, offered consolation to Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, following his defeat in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections. Cubana Chief Priest sought the APC ticket for the House of Representatives seat representing Orsu, Orlu, and Oru East Federal Constituency in Imo State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He lost to incumbent lawmaker Canice Nwachukwu, receiving only 14 votes. In response to the outcome, Seyi Tinubu shared an encouraging message on his Instagram page, stating that sometimes one may lose a battle but can still win the war.

Cubana Chief Priest later reposted Seyi's message, expressing that he had no regrets about contesting for the position despite the loss and acknowledged the support he received from his community, which resulted in 14 votes.
