Cultists Murder Rivers Youth Leader and Aide, Sparking Panic in Omoku Town

In Rivers State, Nigeria, cultists brutally murdered Ifeanyi Azuazu, a youth leader, and his aide, Chigozi Oluwu. The attack took place in Omoku town, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area.

The assailants beheaded Azuazu and abducted him after storming a popular drinking spot. Oluwu was shot dead when he tried to intervene.

The incident caused panic among residents, leading to the closure of shops. The local vigilante group, OSPAC, discovered Azuazu's headless body in a bush the next day.

Godnew Nkem, OSPAC's Public Relations Officer, confirmed the killings and urged residents to remain calm as investigations continue.
