Cultists Behead Youth President, Kill Aide in Rivers State Attack

In Rivers State, cultists beheaded the youth president, Ifeanyi Azuazu, and killed his aide, Chigozi Oluwu, in Omoku town, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area. The attack occurred when gunmen stormed a drink spot, leading to the immediate death of Oluwu when he tried to intervene.

Azuazu was abducted and later found headless in a bush. The Onelga Security Planning and Advisory Committee (OSPAC) confirmed the incident and urged residents to remain calm.

The River State Police Command has launched a full-scale investigation to apprehend the perpetrators. Godnew Nkem, OSPAC's Public Relations Officer, condemned the attack and assured that those responsible would face the law.
