Customs and Police Enhance Collaboration for Security

On Wednesday, during a meeting at the Nigeria Customs Service headquarters in Maitama, Abuja, the Comptroller General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, welcomed the Inspector General of Police, Disu Olatunji. Adeniyi congratulated Olatunji on his appointment and expressed confidence in his ability to lead the Nigeria Police Force effectively.

Both leaders reiterated the importance of stronger collaboration between the Nigeria Customs Service and the Nigeria Police Force to tackle emerging threats and safeguard national interests. Adeniyi noted that the Nigeria Customs Service stands ready to support the Nigeria Police Force in restoring peace and security across the country.

The IGP acknowledged the warm reception and described the visit as an opportunity to further strengthen the long-standing relationship between the two agencies. The purpose of the meeting was to deepen their relationship and reaffirm their commitment as reliable partners in addressing security challenges through enhanced cooperation and intelligence sharing.
