Nigerian Customs Seizes ₦181.6 Million Petrol from Smugglers

The Nigerian Customs special task force intercepted petroleum products worth ₦181.6 million from smugglers operating between Nigeria and Cameroon. The operation, led by ACG Kolapo Oladeji, targeted smuggling flashpoints across Adamawa State.

Oladeji emphasized the need for stakeholders to cooperate in promoting socio-economic development and warned fuel smugglers of serious legal consequences. Plans are underway to auction the seized petroleum products to prevent economic sabotage and reclaim national resources.
