Nigeria Customs Service Warns Against Fake Auctions

The impersonators aim to defraud unsuspecting members of the public by exploiting their interest in vehicle auctions. The Customs Service strongly advised the public to disregard any messages from these fraudulent accounts and to refrain from making any payments.

They also encouraged individuals to report such accounts to appropriate authorities for further action. This warning comes amid a rise in cases of impersonation targeting government agencies in Nigeria, where fraudsters exploit public interest in seized vehicles to lure victims.
