CUTIX PLC has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited of the resignation of its external auditors, Ngozi Monica Okonkwo & Co, effective from the date of the company's 43rd AGM held on August 28, 2026. The filing discloses the reason for the resignation and the board's intention to appoint a replacement auditor.

CUTIX PLC filed a corporate action notice with the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) on September 2, 2026, disclosing the resignation of its external auditors, Ngozi Monica Okonkwo & Co. The auditors submitted their formal resignation letter dated July 24, 2026, with the resignation taking effect from August 28, 2026 — the date of the company's 43rd Annual General Meeting (AGM).

According to the filing, the auditors cited a strategic review of their audit portfolio as the reason for their decision to discontinue the engagement. Their tenure covered up to and including the completion of the audit for the financial year ended April 30, 2026.

The Board of Directors has acknowledged the resignation and disclosed that it has commenced the process of identifying and appointing a replacement external auditor. Any new appointment will be subject to the necessary regulatory and shareholder approvals, as required under applicable rules.

CUTIX PLC stated that it will make further disclosures to NGX once a new external auditor has been appointed and the relevant approval processes have been completed. The notification was signed by Company Secretary Chinwendu Nwokporo and filed in compliance with NGX Listing Rules and disclosure requirements.
