Niger Governor Orders Mobilization for Ongoing Voter Registration Exercise

Niger State Governor Moham Umaru Bago has instructed top public and political office holders to lead a massive statewide mobilization campaign to encourage citizen participation in the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise. The statement, issued by Alhaji Abubakar Usman, the Secretary to the Government of Niger State, emphasized the importance of the CVR exercise for good governance and democratic consolidation.

Governor Bago urged stakeholders to intensify awareness campaigns and ensure maximum participation at the ward and local government levels. Additionally, political appointees are expected to assist in the registration process, regardless of their status, to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) in strengthening its grassroots structure and internal democracy.
