A cyberattack on Collins Aerospace, a key aviation systems provider, caused disruptions at several major European airports, leading to flight chaos. The subsidiary of RTX faced technical issues that affected passenger boarding operations at airports like London Heathrow, Brussels, and Berlin.

The incident, which began on a Friday night, led to delays and cancellations as automated systems were knocked offline, forcing staff to resort to manual operations. Despite the disruptions, Collins Aerospace assured travelers that they were working to restore full functionality quickly and had manual workarounds in place.

The Frankfurt Airport was also impacted by the cyberattack, highlighting the vulnerability of aviation systems to such malicious activities.
