Dala Studio Partners with Miva University for AI Training

Dala Studio, a platform developed by Gebeya Inc, has entered into a partnership with Miva Open University to enhance AI entrepreneurship among students in Nigeria. The agreement aims to equip 25,000 students with artificial intelligence tools, enabling them to develop applications, websites, games, and automated agents without needing coding skills.

This initiative is part of a broader strategy to align university education with the demands of a rapidly evolving digital economy. Amad Daff, Chief Executive Officer of Gebeya, emphasized that the partnership empowers Nigerian students to launch businesses without requiring technical expertise or external funding.

The initiative includes a structured ambassador program, where selected students will lead workshops to promote platform adoption across campuses. Graham Ekoh, associated with Miva Open University, highlighted the importance of shifting from theoretical learning to practical creation.

The partnership reflects a growing trend in African higher education institutions to collaborate with the private sector to bridge skill gaps and improve graduate employability, particularly in artificial intelligence.
