Dangote Cement Launches Security Outposts in Kogi Communities

Dangote Cement Plc has officially commissioned two security outposts in Iwaa and Apata communities, located in Kogi State, as part of its commitment to community development and security reinforcement. The commissioning ceremony was led by Azad Nawabuddin, the plant director of Dangote Cement Plc at the Obajana plant.

He emphasized the importance of security as a foundation for sustainable growth and development, noting that the newly commissioned infrastructure marks a significant milestone in safeguarding lives and properties. Olu Apata, a security architect, and other community leaders expressed gratitude towards Dangote Cement for the initiative, highlighting the positive impact on the communities.

Alhaji Aliko Dangote was described as a kind-hearted individual by community members, who pledged their unwavering loyalty to the company. The project aligns with Dangote Cement's corporate social responsibility initiatives, which aim to address critical community needs and foster mutual benefits.

The community leaders, including Comrade Rotimi Kekereowo and Comrade Adekunle Babatunde, expressed appreciation for the company's efforts and called for sustained collaboration in community development.
