Dangote Cement Commissions Security Outposts in Kogi

Dangote Cement PLC has officially commissioned two security outposts in the Iwaa and Apata communities, as part of its commitment to community development and enhancing security in the areas surrounding its Obajana plant. The ceremony was attended by Azad Nawabuddin, the plant director, who emphasized the importance of security as a foundation for sustainable growth and development.

He noted that although Iwaa is geographically distant from the plant, it holds a special place in the company's priorities. The newly commissioned security infrastructure is seen as a significant milestone in safeguarding lives and properties and reinforcing the relationship between Dangote Cement and the communities.

Olu Apata, a local monarch, expressed gratitude for the initiative, while community leaders like Comrade Rotimi Kekereowo and Prince Adeyemi Ademola acknowledged the benefits received from the company. The project aligns with Dangote Cement's corporate social responsibility initiatives and aims to address critical community needs.
