Dangote Cement H1 2026 Results: PAT Up 22.7% to ₦638.5B

Dangote Cement PLC filed its unaudited results for the six months ended 30th June 2026 on 29th July 2026. The filing reports double-digit growth across revenue, EBITDA, and profit after tax, alongside a net cash position of ₦215.2 billion.
Dangote Cement PLC (DANGCEM) released its unaudited H1 2026 results, covering the six months ended 30th June 2026. The company reported group revenue of ₦2,513.9 billion, a 21.4% increase from ₦2,071.6 billion in H1 2025. Group EBITDA rose 25.8% to ₦1,188.3 billion, representing a margin of 47.3%. Nigeria EBITDA grew 28.4% to ₦1,085.8 billion, with a margin of 60.1%.
Profit after tax reached ₦638.5 billion, up 22.7% year-on-year, while earnings per share increased 24.3% to ₦38.22. The company ended the period with a net cash balance of ₦215.2 billion, with cash balances exceeding total debt.
On volumes, the group dispatched 14.9 million tonnes of cement and clinker, up 11.8%. Nigeria volumes grew 8.3% to 9.7 million tonnes, while Pan-Africa volumes rose 19.0% to 5.95 million tonnes. Nigerian export volumes of cement and clinker increased 62.3% to 1.1 million tonnes, supported by 20 clinker shipments to Ghana, Cameroon, and Cote d'Ivoire.
The company noted that construction and commissioning of its new 6 million tonnes per annum Itori plant is at an advanced stage, with completion targeted before year-end.
