Dangote Cement retrains 900 truck drivers

Dangote Cement recently held its 2025 Annual Drivers Retreat, where the Group Managing Director, Arvind Pathak, announced that 900 truck drivers had completed a rigorous recruitment and training process in the past two months. The training exercise took place at the DCP Ibese Plant in Ogun State, with another session scheduled for Obajana, Kogi State.

Pathak emphasized the importance of safety on the road, stating that every driver employed by Dangote Cement must undergo extensive screening, including medical evaluations and drug/alcohol testing. The company is committed to ensuring that all drivers meet the required standards and operate vehicles safely.

Pathak reiterated Dangote Cement's commitment to road safety and cooperation with authorities to investigate any incidents. The company's focus on training and safety measures aims to uphold its core values and ensure a safer road environment.
