Dangote, Ethiopia PM Kick Off $2.5bn Fertiliser Plant Project - Boosting Agriculture in Africa!

Dangote Group and Ethiopian Investment Holdings have launched a $2.5 billion fertiliser plant project in Ethiopia, with a production capacity of three million metric tonnes of urea annually. This joint venture aims to enhance agricultural productivity, create jobs, and improve food security in the Horn of Africa region.

The project, one of Ethiopia's largest industrial investments, signifies a strategic partnership between the two entities. Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed praised the initiative as a symbol of progress and cooperation, reflecting Ethiopia's commitment to economic development and peace.
