Dangote Partners with German Company to Boost Fertilizer Production in Lagos

Dangote Fertilizer Limited has signed a licensing deal with the German company Thyssenkrupp to construct four new urea granule plants in Lagos, Nigeria. The new plants, equipped with advanced technology, will increase Dangote's total fertilizer output from 2.65 million to 8 million tons annually.

This expansion is expected to boost Nigeria's export earnings, with the country already exporting urea worth N856 billion in the first three months of 2025. The move aligns with Dangote's commitment to agricultural self-sufficiency and industrial growth.

Additionally, Dangote plans to list Dangote Fertilizer Limited on the Nigerian Exchange Market to attract investors.
