Dangote Group Denies Ownership of Truck in Ondo Fatal Accident

The Dangote Group has denied ownership of a truck involved in a fatal accident in Akungba Akoko, Ondo State. The company clarified that the truck, bearing plate number JJJ 365 XB, is owned and operated by an independent logistics company with no affiliation to Dangote.

The vehicle was transporting crushed stone under various brand names, not Dangote products. Dangote emphasized its commitment to road safety, regulatory compliance, and corporate citizenship.

The incident claimed multiple lives due to brake failure.
