TRACE Apologizes to Dangote Group for Misattributed Truck in Ogun Accident

The Ogun State Traffic Compliance Enforcement Agency (TRACE) issued a formal apology to the Dangote Group for wrongly attributing a fatal accident to one of their trucks. Initially, a truck involved in a crash that claimed five lives was mistakenly identified as belonging to Dangote Cement, causing unintended embarrassment.

TRACE clarified that the error was unintentional and expressed regret for any harm caused to the company's reputation. The agency emphasized that the misidentification was not meant to malign or embarrass the Dangote brand.

The incident occurred along the Alapako axis of the road, and TRACE acknowledged the mistake, offering sincere apologies to the management of Dangote Cement.
