The Dangote Group has refuted claims linking one of its trucks to a tragic accident in Ondo State that claimed eight lives, including a pregnant woman and child. The incident occurred in Akungba Akoko along the Owo-Akungba-Ikare expressway.

The Federal Road Safety Corps confirmed the crash, emphasizing that the truck involved was not part of Dangote's fleet but belonged to a private logistics firm. The company expressed condolences to the victims' families and stressed its commitment to safety standards.
