Dangote Group Partners with Honeywell to Upgrade Refinery Capacity in Nigeria

Dangote Group has formed a strategic partnership with Honeywell International Inc. to enhance its petroleum refinery operations in Nigeria. The collaboration will involve the supply of specialized catalysts, equipment, and process technology by Honeywell to increase the refinery's processing capacity to 1.4 million barrels per day by 2028.

This initiative aligns with Dangote's long-term vision of building the largest petroleum refining complex globally. Additionally, Dangote plans to double its production capacity from 650,000 barrels per day to 1.4 million barrels per day within the next three years.

The partnership also includes expanding Dangote's petrochemical and fertilizer footprint in Nigeria.
