Dangote Group Re-engages Sacked Engineers, Redeploys Amid Labor Dispute

Dangote Group has re-engaged engineers who were previously sacked during a face-off with the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN). The affected staff have been redeployed to different projects in states like Borno, Zamfara, Benue, Ebonyi, Niger, Sokoto, and Kebbi.

The engineers, who were initially let go, have now been instructed to pick up their re-employment and redeployment letters. Femi Adekunle, the Chief General Manager of Human Asset Management, confirmed the redeployment of workers to various business units across the conglomerate.

This move comes after allegations of sabotage and disruptions in operations.
