Federal Government to Redeploy Disengaged Dangote Refinery Workers

The Federal Government announced that workers recently laid off from the Dangote Refinery would be redeployed within the Dangote Group without loss of pay. This decision followed negotiations between the government, refinery management, and the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN).

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Mohammed Maigari Dingyadi, confirmed the redeployment process to resolve the standoff.

The agreement aimed to address concerns of victimization and ensure fair treatment of the affected workers. The resolution highlighted the importance of dialogue and adherence to labor laws in addressing employment disputes in Nigeria.
