Dangote Refinery Initiates Free Petrol Distribution Using CNG Trucks, Plans Expansion

Dangote Refinery has commenced free petrol distribution using Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) trucks, marking a significant milestone in its operations. The refinery plans to expand to 700,000 barrels per day (bpd) and reduce fuel costs for end-users.

Aliko Dangote, the executive of Dangote Petroleum Refinery, highlighted the end of fuel queues in Nigeria since the refinery started petrol production a year ago. Despite challenges, Dangote emphasized the company's commitment to Nigeria and Africa.

This move signifies a shift towards more efficient and cost-effective fuel distribution in the country.
