Dangote Refinery Launches Free Fuel Distribution Scheme in Nigeria

Dangote Refinery in Nigeria is set to begin a free fuel distribution scheme starting on September 15, with a new pump price announced. The refinery will offer petrol at N841 per litre in some states and N851 per litre in others.

This initiative aims to reduce fuel distribution costs, ease inflationary pressure, and benefit millions of micro, small, and medium enterprises. Dangote has invested N720 billion to deploy Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) trucks for nationwide distribution.

The refinery plans to meet Nigeria's daily consumption of 65 million litres of refined products. This move is expected to save Nigerians trillions annually and enhance profitability.
