Dangote Refinery to Become World's Largest with Capacity Expansion Deal

Dangote Refinery, led by Aliko Dangote, has signed an agreement with a technology licensor to expand its production capacity from 650,000 to 1.4 million barrels per day within three years. This move aligns with President Bola Tinubu's vision for Nigeria's economic growth.

The refinery's expansion project aims to make it the world's largest refinery, surpassing India's Jamnagar refinery. The investment cost for this expansion was not disclosed, but Dangote assures completion within the set timeline.
