Dangote Slashes Petrol Price To N820 Per Litre

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) or petrol from N850 to N820 per litre, effective August 12, 2025. The company stated that this decision is part of its commitment to national development and ensuring consistent and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products.

Additionally, the refinery will begin the phased deployment of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for truck fuel distribution across Nigeria. Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, highlighted the refinery's focus on operational excellence and sustainable energy solutions.

The move underscores Dangote's dedication to providing reliable and environmentally friendly fuel options for the country.
