Abubakar Dantsoho Leads Efforts to Boost African Port Growth at IAPH Conference

Abubakar Dantsoho, the Managing Director of the Nigerian Port Authority (NPA) and Vice President of the International Association of Ports and Harbours (IAPH), presented a roadmap for enhancing port growth and integration across Africa at the World Port Conference in Kobe City, Japan. He emphasized the importance of policy execution, regional collaboration, and trade facilitation to address infrastructure gaps and slow technological adoption in African ports.

Dantsoho pledged to drive unified action among stakeholders to tackle challenges and promote full automation in African ports. Additionally, the NPA is focusing on improving trade efficiency and supporting non-oil revenue growth in Nigeria.
