NPA Chief Vows Digitally Driven Port System for Nigeria at UNGA

Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), pledges to enhance Nigeria's port system for global competitiveness and digital efficiency at the United Nations General Assembly.

Dantsoho aims to attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and boost investor confidence in Nigeria's economic future through improved trade facilitation. The NPA plans to launch the Port Community System (PCS) in the first quarter of 2026 to enhance digital collaboration among stakeholders.
