Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho Advocates for African Port Collaboration to Boost Blue Economy Growth

Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, the Managing Director of the Nigerian Port Authority (NPA), emphasized the need for African ports to strengthen collaboration to harness the potential of the blue economy for accelerated socio-economic growth.

Speaking at the 45th annual council meeting of the Port Management Association of West Central Africa (PMAWCA) in Pointe-Noire, Republic of Congo, Dantsoho highlighted the importance of climate data collaboration and risk resilience in transforming Africa's port operations. He also underscored the significance of infrastructure improvement, security, and transparency for competitiveness and integration across the continent.
