Datti Baba-Ahmed Joins People's Redemption Party in Zaria

Datti Baba-Ahmed has officially joined the People's Redemption Party (PRP) by acquiring his membership card at the party's ward secretariat in Tudun Wada, Zaria. During the event, he expressed concerns that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is prioritizing efforts to weaken opposition parties instead of addressing pressing national challenges such as insecurity and economic hardship.

He highlighted that the PRP remains largely intact and is not primarily targeted by political interference, positioning it as a credible opposition capable of challenging the APC. Baba-Ahmed also noted the decline of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and expressed uncertainty about its future, while alleging deliberate efforts to destabilize the Labour Party (LP).

He emphasized that the PRP is gaining interest across the country, with defections already occurring, and expressed confidence in the party's leadership and integrity.
