PRP Appoints Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed as National Chairman

The People's Redemption Party (PRP) officially unveiled Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed as its new national chairman during a ceremony held at the party's headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday, just three days after the national convention.

Dr. Hakeem emphasized that the PRP remains a credible platform capable of rescuing Nigeria, acknowledging the financial challenges the party faces compared to larger political parties.

He expressed confidence in the support of the Nigerian media to ignite a process of genuine change. Dr.

Hakeem urged voters to resist the temptation to sell their votes, reinforcing that the PRP stands firm on its principles and values. The outgoing national chairman, Alhaji Falalu Bello, presented Dr.

Hakeem during the handover. Additionally, Mr.

Sunni Kanu was appointed as the national secretary, Haruna Buhari as the national vice chairman (North), Dr. Abdullahi Bayawo as the new national treasurer, and Babatunde Allianc as the new deputy national chairman (South).
