Davido Endorses Pelumi Olajengbesi for 2027 Election

Afrobeats star David Adeleke, known as Davido, has publicly supported Pelumi Olajengbesi in his bid for the House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections. Davido made this endorsement via an Instagram story on Tuesday, referring to Olajengbesi as “My other project” and labeling him a “100% winning ticket.” Olajengbesi, a human rights lawyer, previously served as the convener of the Imole Grassroots Mobilisation Network in Osun State and acted as the campaign spokesman for Governor Ademola Adeleke during the August 15, 2026, Osun State governorship election, which resulted in Adeleke's re-election.

Following the election, Davido expressed gratitude to Olajengbesi for his contributions to the campaign's success. Olajengbesi is running under the Accord Party to represent the Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency, aiming to unseat the incumbent Wole Oke of the All Progressives Congress, who has held the position for 24 years.
