Davido Supports Uncle Adeleke at Osun Campaign Rally

Afrobeats star Davido participated in a campaign rally for his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, as the August 15 governorship election approaches. Davido arrived in Osun State on Thursday, where he and Adeleke danced on stage, energizing supporters.

A video captured Davido navigating through a crowd with Adeleke's son, Sina Adeleke, before they climbed onto the campaign stage. Davido embraced his uncle, who danced to his song "Feel," creating a memorable moment at the rally.

Davido has been instrumental in Adeleke's campaign, having announced in May that he would pause his music career for two months to concentrate on the re-election efforts. He was appointed chairman of the Imole Youth Campaign Mobilisation Team and has engaged in various grassroots activities.

Davido expressed confidence in his uncle's performance in office and has encouraged young voters, particularly meeting with commercial motorcycle and tricycle riders. Governor Adeleke, elected in 2022, is seeking a second term in the upcoming election.
