Davido Gifts Mayorkun a Tesla Cybertruck on Instagram

Nigerian singer Davido has presented a Tesla Cybertruck to his former record label signee, Mayorkun. The announcement was made on Davido's Instagram page, where he shared a photo of the electric vehicle alongside a message expressing his affection for Mayorkun, stating, “My gift to you.

I love you iammayorkun.” The Tesla Cybertruck is noted for its unique stainless steel exterior and design, with an estimated cost ranging between N195 million and N300 million, depending on the model and condition. Mayorkun was signed to Davido's record label, DMW, from 2016 until 2021, during which he released his debut single “Eleko.” He later launched his debut studio album “The Mayor of Lagos” in November 2018.

Following his departure from DMW in 2021, Mayorkun released the single “Let Me Know” and his second studio album “Back in Office” in October 2021 under Sony Music West Africa.
