Reports indicate that Davido lost patience with Sophia's lawyer during the hearing. Subsequently, he took to Instagram to repost a message from Tosin Bee, mistakenly directing his anger towards the artist.

This led to a sudden online backlash among fans, prompting Tosin Bee to respond calmly and clarify that Davido had mistaken him for someone else. Tosin explained that he had lost his mother a year ago and wished to address the situation.

Davido quickly realized his mistake and retracted his comments. The custody case remains unresolved, with Davido seeking full custody while Sophia Momodu is advocating for joint custody.

Meanwhile, Davido announced he would drop the case against Sophia, as he prepares for marriage to his love, Chioma.
