Atiku Abubakar Critiques APC Defections as Pressure Signs

Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President of Nigeria, addressed the recent defections from the All Progressives Congress (APC) by stating that these movements reflect pressure rather than strength within the party. His comments followed the defection of Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri from the APC to the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

Atiku emphasized that the APC, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, faces significant challenges in persuading Nigerian voters for the upcoming 2027 general elections. He urged citizens not to be confused by political realignments and to recognize the genuine grassroots support that will be crucial for the APC's campaign.
