Desmond Elliot Seeks Re-election to Lagos Assembly

Desmond Elliot, a Nollywood actor turned lawmaker, has officially obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination form to seek re-election to the Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Surulere Constituency. In a statement shared on his Facebook page, Elliot expressed his desire to continue serving the people of Surulere, highlighting the importance of consolidating past efforts and advancing development in the constituency.

He appealed for unity and calm among his supporters and political associates, urging them to remain focused on the political journey ahead. Elliot also reaffirmed his loyalty to Femi Gbajabiamila, the current Chief of Staff to the President, dismissing any reports of a rift between them.

He expressed gratitude to party leaders and stakeholders for their support and pledged to continue his service to the community. Elliot's announcement comes as he aims to deepen the progress made in his constituency and enhance the benefits for the people he represents.
