Desmond Elliot Announces Bid for Fourth Term in Lagos

On Thursday, Desmond Elliot, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Surulere Constituency, officially declared his intent to run for a fourth term. The announcement took place at the Surulere Local Government Secretariat, where he was met with significant support from a large crowd.

Elliot highlighted his legislative experience and educational background, noting his studies at the doctoral level in legislative studies. He emphasized the importance of continuity in leadership to effectively deliver democratic dividends to the people.

Elliot's achievements include facilitating numerous development projects in the constituency, such as road infrastructure, healthcare improvements, and educational initiatives. He received endorsements from local Community Development Associations and various stakeholders, including former local government chairman Tajudeen Ajid and Nollywood actor Sunni McDonald.

Elliot expressed gratitude for the support and promised to continue delivering impactful services to the community if re-elected.
