Desmond Elliot, the lawmaker representing Surulere Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, has been seen on a movie set following his defeat in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election. Photos shared on social media show him alongside fellow Nollywood actor at a film location, engaging in conversation during production.

This development comes shortly after Elliot lost the APC primary for the Surulere Constituency I seat ahead of the 2027 general elections, where he was defeated by Barakat Odunuga-Bakare, who received the majority of votes. Elliot, a three-term Lagos lawmaker, had previously built a successful career in Nollywood before entering politics.

His recent appearance has sparked speculation about a potential return to acting, although he has not publicly confirmed whether he intends to fully return to filmmaking after his electoral defeat.
