Desmond Elliot Returns to Acting After APC Primary Loss

Desmond Elliot, who represents Surulere Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, has seemingly returned to his acting career following his defeat in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election. Recent photographs of him on a movie set with actor Ibrahim Chatta have circulated on social media, generating excitement among fans.

Elliot has been a prominent figure in both Nollywood and politics, having served three consecutive terms in the Lagos State House of Assembly since his election in 2015. His political aspirations faced a setback when he lost the APC primary election to Barakat Odunuga-Bakare, effectively ending his bid for a fourth term.

Despite the loss, Elliot has not publicly announced his future political plans. He previously addressed speculation regarding his re-election ambitions, asserting that he was not pressured to abandon them by his political leader, Femi Gbajabiamila.
