DGI Consult Launches RMNCAH+N Fellowship in Three States
Development Governance International (DGI) Consult inaugurated a 12-month Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, Adolescent Health and Nutrition (RMNCAH+N) Leadership Fellowship to enhance the leadership and problem-solving skills of health professionals in Adamawa, Kwara, and Sokoto States. This fellowship is part of the Enhancing Leadership, Governance and Management Capacities (ELGMC) Project, which is a component of the four-year Strengthening Access to Reproductive and Adolescent Health in Nigeria (SARAH) project, funded by the European Union and jointly implemented by UNICEF and the United Nations Population Fund.
Dr. Gafar Alawode, CEO of DGI Consult, emphasized the need for fellows to identify and tackle real health challenges within their institutions. Over the next 12 months, participants will engage in structured learning, practical problem-solving, and peer learning.
The initiative aims to foster collaboration and continuous learning among health professionals from various relevant institutions across the three states.
