DHQ to Conduct Route March Exercise for Armed Forces and Security Agencies in Abuja

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) in Nigeria has revealed plans to conduct a route march exercise involving personnel from the armed forces and security agencies in Abuja. The exercise, led by Brigadier General Tukur Gusau, will commence at the Aguiyi Ironsi Cantonment and pass through various barracks in the area.

The aim is to strengthen synergy among the security agencies, enhance physical readiness, and foster camaraderie among participants. The DHQ has urged residents, especially road users in Asokoro, to cooperate and understand any inconveniences that may arise due to the exercise.

Relevant agencies like the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) will manage traffic diversions during the event.
