Defence HQ Hosts 4th CDS Unity Basketball Championship in Lagos

The Defence Headquarters is gearing up for the 4th CDS Unity Basketball Championship at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos from September 30 to October 5, 2025. The tournament aims to promote security, unity, discipline, and teamwork among Nigerian youth through sports.

Twelve elite male basketball teams, including military and veteran teams, will participate, with cash prizes, medals, and trophies up for grabs. The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, emphasized the tournament's role in fostering unity and inspiring the youth to uphold values of teamwork and discipline for a stronger, more united Nigeria.
