Benue Governor Alia Celebrates 60th Birthday with Praise

Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, the Governor of Benue State, as he celebrated his 60th birthday.

In his tribute, Chief Ambassador Adu described Governor Alia as a transformative leader synonymous with courage and servant leadership. Since assuming office on May 29, 2023, Governor Alia has prioritized infrastructure development, launching the construction of sixteen township roads within the Makurdi metropolis, which has silenced critics and set a legacy of unparalleled infrastructure renewal.

The number of road projects has grown to fifty, enhancing connectivity and restoring dignity to the people of Benue State. Chief Ambassador Adu emphasized the significance of modern underpasses and overhead bridges being constructed, which represent a bold vision for the state's infrastructure.

He also noted the ongoing reconstruction of the Oju-Awajir road, vital for the surrounding communities. Governor Alia's commitment to building quality roads aims to unlock agricultural and economic potential in the region.
