NDC Leaders Reaffirm Commitment Ahead of 2027 Elections

On Wednesday, members of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) received a delegation that included prominent political figures such as Peter Obi, the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and former Governor of Kano State. The visit, led by House Minority Leader Victor Afam Ogen, aimed to reaffirm the loyalty of the NDC members and their commitment to holding the federal government accountable as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections.

Ogen emphasized the importance of serving the Nigerian people and maintaining the party's motto of service. Kwankwaso commended the lawmakers for their dedication and urged them to intensify grassroots mobilization, particularly among youth, to ensure active participation in the electoral process.

The meeting underscored the NDC's role as a leading opposition force in the National Assembly, particularly in the House of Representatives.
