Dickson Welcomes Obi and Kwankwaso to NDC

On a recent occasion, Seriak Dickson, the former governor of Bayelsa State, welcomed Peter Obi, the former president of the Labour Party, and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the former presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, into the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC). Dickson described their entry as a significant boost to efforts aimed at establishing a strong, value-driven political platform.

He expressed optimism that their involvement would strengthen the party's long-term vision. During the formal reception in Abuja, Obi announced his resignation from the African Democratic Congress, citing the need for a peaceful political platform.

Kwankwaso emphasized the importance of education and youth empowerment in their agenda. Both leaders called on NDC members to avoid litigation and focus on advancing Nigeria's development as they prepare for the 2027 general elections.
