NNPP House Members Dismiss Defection Rumors, Emphasize Loyalty

Thirteen NNPP House of Representatives members, led by Hon. Garba Diso, held a press conference in Abuja to dispel rumors of defection.

Despite two NNPP lawmakers from Kano defecting to APC, the group reaffirmed loyalty to NNPP. The lawmakers stressed their commitment to promoting effective governance, quality education, healthcare access, and improving Nigerian living standards.

Additionally, a resignation letter surfaced on social media from a Kano NNPP federal lawmaker, Sagir Ibrahim Koki, citing reasons for his decision. The defection was reported to have occurred in Kano State, with the NNPP members emphasizing their dedication to national development.
