Atiku Camp Accuses Government of Propaganda Ahead of Elections

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar's camp has accused President Bola's government of using propaganda and disinformation agents to tarnish Atiku's image ahead of the next election cycle. Atiku's media adviser, Paul Ibe, alleged that a mercenary named Kola Johnson, allegedly sponsored by the federal government, has been releasing false press statements in Atiku's name.

The presidency denied these claims, stating they are false and offensive. Johnson had previously claimed that Atiku promised to dominate his cabinet with the Yoruba ethnic group, which Atiku vehemently denied.
