DisCos rake in N1.10trn revenue in 6 months

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) reported that Distribution Companies (DisCos) generated N1.10 trillion in revenue over six months, despite some customers failing to pay for electricity. Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) and Ikeja Electric were among the top earners, while Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) and others also billed customers.
