DMO Announces New FGN Savings Bond Rates for November

The Debt Management Office (DMO) has launched its November 2026 Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) Savings Bond offer, which includes a three-year bond with an interest rate of 14.25% per annum and a two-year bond at 13.25% per annum. This announcement was made in the DMO's offer circular issued on Monday.
The rates represent an increase from the previous month's offerings, reflecting a rise in yields for retail investors. Subscriptions for the bonds will close on November 6, 2026.
The two-year bond matures on November 11, 2028, while the three-year bond matures on November 11, 2029. Each bond unit is priced at N1,000, with a minimum subscription of N5,000 and a maximum of N50 million.
The bonds are government-backed and provide quarterly interest payments. The November offer follows an increase in FGN Savings Bond allotments during the first nine months of 2026, with N600 billion to N800 billion available for both instruments.
